Campaign: Private Client 2010
Solicitors often provide services to private clients on matters such as buying a home, making a will, getting divorced, setting up a business and many more areas of everyday life.
In 2008, the Law Society began a campaign aimed at helping the public identify when they might need the advice of a solicitor. That campaign is on-going with up to date news stories highlighting the common legal problems people might face during the course of their lives.
With the current economic downturn in Britain, these consumer issues have taken on even more importance.
As well as consumer guides for anyone looking to use a solicitor, the Law Society is highlighting, via the media, the many legal problems members of the public might encounter during their lives and how a solicitor can help them.
